Sun's out So it's Time to Play ( O yes)

My mate Phil had a wee trip out today from Burntwood where he lives, approx 90 miles he told he did today, we're planning a little trip in a few weeks to get some more miles under our Belt's before France.






Jill & I had a little Jolly Jaunt out on the Bike today, 1st time we've been out this year with out getting Wet !!.
We managed to clock 114.5 miles, we left home & headed towards Barnsley & then picked up the road for Holmfirth, passing Emily Moor Tv Transmitter on the way quite an impressive site. Got to Holmfirth & had a wander around & 2 Lattes, a chat to some other Bikers who were parked up.
Holmfirth is famous for the BBC series 'Last Of The Summ then back on the road for the Woodhead Pass to Glossop, Chapel-En Le-frith, Castleton in the Peak District then in to Sheffield & back down the M1/M18 back home.
We both got off the Bike feeling stiff !!!!!
Roll on next Sunday as I've got a longer route planned........

Easter Bunnies (Bikes).

Easter weekend and wow what a week we have had here in the UK, the weather has GREAT, Sun, Sun & more Sun, a bit strange for this time of year for us here !!!!

We, nearly all sorted for the trip to France, Ferries are booked and the hotel in Luxembourg also sorted so now just got to get a few more miles done on the Bike before it goe's for it's 7500 service before the trip ( a map will follow of the Intended Route).

It's Out again.

Sunday 3-4-11 and I brought out the Blue Machine for it's first main ride since Nov 2010.
I shot off down to Alfreton in Derbyshire to meet up with Phil my mate who I'm off to France with for 3 1/2 days in June, met up to discuss what and where we are going too.







After our meeting we had a Blast up to The Cat & Fiddle near Buxton (well it would have been rude not too) 2 BLT's and a pot of tea each then ride our seperate ways back home, the only problem was that we both had rain on the way home and yes we both got very wet.

11-4-2011 The wife & I had a run out to Wetherby & yes it rained again, roll on next Sunday, Hope it don't rain then !!!!!!!
