Contact from Kawasaki....

A letter dropped on the mat this week telling me that I had they had written to me and I had not done anythoing about what was in the letter.
I remember something coming through the post the other month.
They have Re-called all the ER6-F's for an Inspection and replacement to do with the Rear foot Brake Lever.
So tomorro I'll be calling my local dealer to get it booked in Next Monday for this to be sorted out before the Road Tax runs out at the end of this month..

Last Ride for 2010 ?

Not been out on the Bike at all this last 3 weeks, the other week I went to Willingham Cafe which is on the way to Skegness Lincolnshire, had a ride out there with some mates.
The week after that the Bike had a Dealer Service etc.
Today 7-11-2010 I had a short ride over to Winterton near Scunthorpe to my mate Tony, frost was under foot as they say so I did not go out until about 11.30am once it had warmed up to 7 deg's.
To my surprise it was not as cold as I had expected, maybe because I went out with the correct clothing on LOL.
The road Tax is due at the end of this month so the Bike may get Sorn off the road until next spring, I've not made my mind up yet what I'm going to do.
I was looking at trading the Kawasaki in for the Triumph 1050GT in December but think I'll wait until next Feb/March to see what the new Kawasaki Z1000SX is like...

Sunday dinner at Tony's mum's house & met his sister and her grandson (dinner was very nice ).
After some pudding and a cuppa it was off down to Barrow In Furness to see Tony's brother who came off his Gixa 1000 last Sunday in Kendal, he was a lucky man and is now on the mend.
